An accelerated charger is a type of charger that delivers more power than traditional charging solutions. It reduces the time needed to charge an electric vehicle from hours to minutes, allowing for faster and more convenient charging. Accelerated chargers are becoming increasingly popular as electric vehicles become more widespread.

The amount of time it will take for you’re EV Electric Vehicle accelerated chargers to charge will depend on a couple of things. First the capacity of your battery, a typical 52kwh battery will take about 7 hours with a 7kwh fast charging point or 17hours on a 3kwh slow charger. Cars like the Renault Zoe can also use Very Fast 22kwh charging points which will take about 2.3 hours for a 100% charge. It can also use Rapid CCS 50kwh charging which will give you an 80% charge in 45 mins. This will give you around 180 miles.
